Orange Habenero500 000 on the Scoville, it tickles your tongue slightly more that the red.

White ghost – Also sitting on the 1 m mark on the Scoville scale, this pepper is known for its fantastic flavour.  Don’t let this delicate hue deceive you.  Its vibrant and fruity aroma is only matched by its vibrant heat.

Yellow Ghost – At just over a million, this pepper is 125 times hotter sitting also @ just over 1 million on the Scoville scale, this pepper is 125 times hotter than the Jalapeño and has a super fruity flavour with a nuclear punch.

Pot Burgundy – 1.5mil on the Scoville scale – this chilli also hails from Trinidad and is also known as the chocolate 7 pot because it matures to a dark burgundy colour.  It has a big fruity flavour with a nutty finish and is known to have the most pungent scent. You have to try this delicious & spicy chilli!

Yellow Morugu Scorpions – Quoted from a chilli expert, you take a bite, it doesn’t seem bad then it builds and builds – aside from the heat the Trinidad Moruga scorpion has a tender fruit-like flavour which makes it a sweet hot combo.

Choc Bhutlah – This is not a Cadbury’s product; this pepper is nearly as spicy as the Carolina reaper.  They say that it has a fruity with floral notes flavour – initially all of that, however, quickly transforms into blazing heat!

The Peach Carolina Reaper – 1,5 on the Scoville scale – this is a cross between a ghost pepper and a peach habanero giving it it’s distinct peach colour.  The heat and shape are similar to the original carolina reaper.  This variety will once again be fruity and citrusy.

Magmar Reaper – According to the www.scovillerepublic.com The Magma Reaper Pepper is a scorching-hot chilli with a striking resemblance to the infamous Moruga.

Red Carolina Reaper – 2.2 mil on the Scoville scale – cross between the red habanero and ghost pepper.  The Carolina reaper was developed by American, Ed Currie.  It’s red and gnarled with a bumpy texture and a small, pointed tail.  In 2017, the Guinness book of World Records declared it the hottest chilli pepper in the world.  Also described as a sweet fruity flavour just before the unrelenting face-melting heat kicks in! This pepper is better described as the demon pepper child invented by man.  There is nothing normal about this pepper because it was bred for heat and that it is. Oddly enough this pepper has excellent flavour as well , as I’m sure our contestants will tell you.

Despite the Carolina Reaper being officially ranked as #1 by Guinness, there have been recent reports of a Dragons Breath Pepper testing even higher at 2.48 Scoville Heat Units!
